Talent Advisor agent

Helps managers run talent reviews, calibration sessions, and succession planning — using your actual performance, comp, and movement data.

Talent Advisor Agent

What it does

When a manager prepares for a calibration or talent review, the Talent Advisor:

  • Summarizes each direct report's performance, recent feedback, comp position, and movement history.
  • Drafts review narratives ("strong this cycle in X; growth opportunity in Y").
  • Flags retention risk based on engagement signals and comp position.
  • Suggests development moves, stretch assignments, and successor candidates.

Manager edits, manager decides — the agent doesn't change ratings or comp.

Why it matters

Calibration meetings are the place where data should win — but most managers walk in with a screenful of notes from memory. Talent Advisor levels the prep work across managers so the calibration discussion focuses on judgment, not recall.

What it changes

  • Calibration meetings are shorter and substantive because everyone walks in with the same baseline.
  • Performance narratives are more specific because they're drafted from real data.
  • Successor pipelines and stretch-assignment lists actually exist and update — they don't sit in a slide deck from last year.

Risk to watch

  • Bias laundering — if your historical ratings have systemic bias, the agent will reflect it. Pair the rollout with bias review on the agent's outputs.
  • Manager over-trust — drafted narratives still need manager judgment. Don't ship them un-reviewed.
